Revenue seizes cannabis resin worth €900,000 in Dublin

Yesterday (01/11/16), Revenue officers with the help of detector dog Meg, seized 150kg of cannabis resin as part of an intelligence-led, joint operation, targeting the illegal importation, sale and supply of drugs and involving Revenue’s Customs Service and the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau. The drugs have an estimated value of €900,000 and were seized during the search of a warehouse in South County Dublin.

Investigations are ongoing with a view to prosecution.
