Revenue seizes herbal cannabis in Galway

Today (05/08/16), as part of an intelligence led, joint operation involving Revenue’s Customs Service, the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and the Galway Drugs Unit, Revenue officers seized 250g of herbal cannabis, with an approximate street value of €5,000, when a house in the Wellpark area of Galway was searched. Two 23 year old men were arrested by Gardaí and have been detained at Galway Garda Station.

Investigations are ongoing.
