Revenue officers seize cocaine worth €250,000 at Dublin Airport

Revenue officers seized 3.8kg cocaine last night (10/04/2016) at Dublin Airport.

A 39 year old Portuguese woman arrived in Dublin from Dubai. When she was stopped and questioned, following routine profiling by Revenue officers, she was found to be carrying the cocaine in three confectionery tins. The woman was arrested and detained by Gardaí. Investigations are ongoing with a view to prosecution.

The estimated street value of the cocaine is €250,000.
