Revenue seizes heroin and cocaine worth €650,000 at Dublin Airport
Yesterday (19/07/17), Revenue officers at Dublin Airport seized drugs with an estimated street value of almost €650,000. In an intelligence-led operation, Revenue officers stopped a man in his 40s who had arrived in Dublin on a flight from Malaga. The UK national, who was found to be carrying 4.5kg heroin and 0.25kg cocaine, was arrested and brought to Ballymun Garda Station, where he remains in custody.
Investigations are ongoing with a view to prosecution.
