Travelling from within the EU

Overview

You can bring in an unlimited amount of most goods when travelling to Ireland from another European Union (EU) country. However, the amounts of alcohol and tobacco products are limited. You will find further information on these limits on the next page. Some goods are prohibited, while others are subject to restrictions.

If you are travelling from the Canary Islands, you should read our customs information in Travelling from outside the EU.
