Aerodrome Licence

Note:

The waiver of Excise Duty on on-trade liquor licences will not be extended to renewals in 2022.

An Aerodrome Licence allows the sale of alcohol for consumption on or off the licensed premises in an airport. Sales can only be made to:

  • passengers arriving 
  • or
  • departing 

on flights of at least 80km with an authorised air transport service.

The licensing year is from 1 October to 30 September. This licence will expire on 30 September each year regardless of the issue date. 

The cost of this licence is €500 each year.
