Department of Finance and Revenue Board Liaison Group

The Department of Finance and Revenue Board Liaison Group is an information sharing group. It comprises the Secretary General, Second Secretary General and Assistant Secretary, Tax Policy from the Department of Finance and the Revenue Board comprising the Chairman of Revenue and the two Commissioners.

The group exchanges high level policy-relevant information of mutual interest to the two organisations. It meets several times a year.

Revenue is statutorily independent in its administration of the tax system and, consequently, individual tax cases are not discussed.
