The unstamped cigarettes were discovered with the assistance of Revenue

an examination of freight, which arrived into Dublin from Rotterdam.

The seized cigarettes, branded 'Marlboro', have a retail value of almost
€500,000, representing a potential loss to the Exchequer of €422,000.
