Revenue seize drugs worth €440,000 in Clondalkin, Dublin

Last Friday (02/10/2020), as part of an intelligence led operation, Revenue officers seized 22 Kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €440,000. The illegal drugs were discovered with the assistance of detector dog Scooby following a search, under warrant, of a house and business premises in the Clondalkin area of Dublin.

The joint operation was conducted by Revenue’s Custom Service and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.

Gardai arrested a 46 year-old man who was detained at Ronanstown Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act 1996.
