Revenue seize drugs worth €180,000 at Dublin Airport

Yesterday (13/12/2020), as a result of routine profiling, Revenue officers at Dublin Airport seized 3kgs of Crystal Methamphetamine, following a search of the checked baggage of a woman that had disembarked a flight from Dubai. The illegal drugs have an estimated value of €180,000.

A South African woman in her 20s was arrested by Gardaí and is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drugs Trafficking Act 1996 at Ballymun Garda Station.

Investigations are ongoing.
