Revenue seize cannabis and ecstasy at Dublin Mail Centre

Yesterday (25/02/2020), as a result of routine operations, Revenue officers at Dublin Mail Centre, seized over 3.25kgs of herbal cannabis and 215 ecstasy tablets with a combined estimated street value of €48,850.

The illegal drugs were discovered in 14 separate parcels originating from the United States and the Netherlands and were declared as items such as ‘fabric’, ‘gloves’, ‘bathrobe’ and ‘denim hooded jacket’. All parcels were destined for delivery in Dublin.

Investigations are ongoing.
