Revenue seize 1.9 million cigarettes at Dublin Port
Yesterday (07/09/2022), as a result of routine profiling and with the assistance of detector dog Waffle, Revenue officers seized over 1.9 million cigarettes at Dublin Port.
The consignment of illegal cigarettes branded ‘Manchester’, had an estimated retail value of €1.4 million, representing a potential loss to the Exchequer of approximately €1.1 million.
Investigations are ongoing.
