Revenue seize herbal cannabis worth over €147,000 in Athlone
Yesterday (10/05/2023), as a result of routine operations, Revenue officers examining parcels at a premises in Athlone seized over 7.3kgs of herbal cannabis.
The illegal drugs, with an estimated value of €147,200, were discovered in a parcel that had originated from Spain and was destined for an address in Dublin.
Investigations are ongoing.
