Revenue seize cocaine worth €140,000 in Athlone
Yesterday (10/07/2023), as a result of risk profiling, Revenue officers examining parcels at a premises in Athlone seized 2kgs cocaine with an estimated value of €140,000.
The illicit drugs were discovered in a parcel that had originated in the Netherlands and were destined for an address in Northern Ireland.
Investigations are ongoing.
