Revenue seize ketamine and herbal cannabis worth over €260,000
Yesterday (12/12/2023), as a result of risk profiling, Revenue officers examining parcels at a premises in Athlone seized almost 3kg of ketamine and over 4.6kg of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €266,000.
The illicit drugs were discovered in parcels originating from the Netherlands and Spain, and were destined for addresses in Dublin and Kildare.
Investigations are ongoing.
