Revenue seize herbal cannabis worth €100,000 at Dublin Port
On Wednesday (08/05/2024), as a result of risk profiling and with the assistance of detector dog Guss, Revenue officers seized 5 kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €100,000 at Dublin Port. The illicit drugs were detected in consignments that had arrived from Spain and were destined for an address in Dublin. Investigations are ongoing.
This seizure is part of Revenue’s ongoing operations targeting organised crime groups and the importation, sale and supply of illegal drugs.
