Revenue seize herbal cannabis worth €373,000 at Dublin Airport
Last Friday (23/08/2024), as a result of risk profiling, Revenue officers seized approximately 18.6 kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €373,000 at Dublin Airport.
The cannabis was discovered concealed in vacuum-packed packages within the baggage of a passenger who had disembarked a flight originating from Thailand. A man in his 30s was subsequently arrested and charged before appearing before the courts on Saturday. Investigations are ongoing.
