Revenue seize 1.44 million cigarettes in County Meath
Today (04/09/2024), as a result of risk profiling, Revenue officers seized 1,440,000 cigarettes in Co. Meath. The cigarettes, branded ‘Richmond’, have an estimated value of €1,206,000, representing a potential loss to the Exchequer of over €949,000. A man in his 30s has been questioned and investigations are ongoing.
