Revenue seize herbal cannabis worth €136,000 in Dublin
Today, 30/09/2024, as part of an intelligence-led operation, Revenue officers seized approximately 6.8 kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €136,000 from a residential address in Dublin.
This seizure was made as a result of a joint operation conducted by Revenue’s Customs Service, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and the K District Drugs Unit, Dublin.
A man in his 20s was arrested by An Garda Síochána and is currently being detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda Station in Dublin.
Investigations are ongoing.
