Revenue seize 8 million cigarettes in County Meath
Yesterday, 15/10/2024, as a result of risk profiling, Revenue officers seized 8 million cigarettes in County Meath.
The illicit cigarettes, branded ‘MAC’, have an estimated value of €7,215,000 and represent a potential loss to the Exchequer of €5,706,000.
Investigations are ongoing.
