Appointment of Revenue Commissioner

The Taoiseach, Micheál Martin, T.D., has appointed Maura Kiely as Revenue Commissioner to succeed Gerry Harrahill who recently retired from the Revenue Board.

Maura has over 20 years’ experience as a practising solicitor. Maura joined Revenue in 2017 from the Central Bank of Ireland and was appointed Revenue Solicitor in 2021. Prior to her role in the Central Bank of Ireland, Maura was a partner in private practice specialising in the area of criminal law.

Maura, originally from Cork, lives in Dublin with her husband and two children.
