Usage of Google Analytics and Google reCAPTCHA

Revenue’s website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ('Google'). Google Analytics uses 'cookies' which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. We do not use Google Analytics on our online services.

If you consent the use of cookies on this website, information will be generated by the Google Analytics cookie about your use of the website. This information will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of:

  • evaluating your use of the website
  • compiling reports on website activity for website operators
  • providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage.

Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf.

Revenue uses reCAPTCHA, a human verification tool provided by Google, as part of the log-in and password reset functions on the myAccount website. This measure is to assist in preventing automated or scripted attacks, while striking a balance with usability. While reCAPTCHA is a Google product, Revenue does not share your personal data with Google.  Additional information about Google reCAPTCHA and Google's privacy policy can be found on Google’s privacy page.
