Issues completing and submitting returns

Password or certificate incorrect at sign and submit

Check your Autofill settings if:

  • the incorrect certificate is showing at the Sign and Submit stage
  • you are receiving an error that the password is incorrect.

To do this:

  • Safari: Click on ‘Safari’, then ‘Preferences’, then ‘AutoFill’. Turn AutoFill ‘off’.
  • Chrome:  Click the Chrome menu icon (three lines or dots at the top right of the screen), then ‘Settings’, then ‘Show advanced Settings’.
  • In the Passwords and Forms section, uncheck ‘Enable Autofill to fill out web forms in a single click’.
