Issues resetting the Revenue Online Service (ROS) login

We could not process your request at this time

If you receive the error 'We could not process your request at this time', then the reset option is not available to you. This could be because:

  • the security questions have not been set up
  • your Revenue Online Service (ROS) Administrator profile is incomplete (a phone number or email is missing)
  • or
  • the security questions were answered incorrectly on two attempts.

If you are the ROS Administrator (the main ROS account holder), you must register for ROS again to restore your login.

If the ROS certificate has expired, you can start the registration now.

If the ROS certificate is still active, it must be revoked before you can register again. Please email with your Tax Registration Number requesting 'Revoke ROS Cert'.

If you are a ROS sub-user, you must contact your ROS Administrator to resolve your login issues.
