Submitting your Local Property Tax Return

Owners of multiple properties

If you are liable for Local Property Tax (LPT) for more than one property, you are required to submit your LPT returns online.

You can submit your LPT returns online through myAccount or Revenue Online Service (ROS). Alternatively, you can log in directly to the LPT online service. To log in, you will need your:

Revenue will issue you with a letter through myAccount or ROS, or in the post, to:

  • confirm your online LPT record for 2022 is available
  • and
  • give you information on the dates for filing your return and payment.

You will receive this letter in advance of the valuation date of 1 November 2021.  Your Property ID and PIN will be included in the letter. These are also shown on any previous LPT correspondence you may have received from Revenue.

Submitting LPT returns and payments for two to ten properties

You will need to determine the market value of each of your properties as at 1 November 2021. 

Submit your LPT returns for each property by 7 November 2021.

Submitting LPT returns and payments for 11 or more properties

You will need to determine the market value of each of your properties as at 1 November 2021.

You do not need to submit an LPT Return for each individual property. Instead, you can submit your LPT returns and payment arrangements for all your properties by uploading a file containing a list of your properties. You are required to complete this file upload by 7 November 2021.
