Advice and information to assist taxpayers and their agents during the COVID-19 pandemic
Revenue continues to carry out its vital role as a tax and customs administration to the greatest extent possible having regard for the safety and well-being of both our staff and taxpayers. In addition, we are also working closely with other Government Departments and agencies to assist in delivering the principal measures and initiatives that the Government is implementing in response to the Covid-19 crisis.
Revenue understands the unprecedented situation facing taxpayers as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Revenue has issued guidance and advice to taxpayers over the course of the last two weeks to assist those that are experiencing a range of difficulties caused by the impacts of the COVID-19 virus. This guidance can be found on Revenue’s website.
Revenue will continue to closely monitor the evolving situation regarding COVID-19 and will issue further updated guidance for taxpayers when required and as issues arise. In particular, we will continue to issue updated guidance to businesses in good time before future returns are due.
The following advice and information is available on Revenue's website to assist taxpayers, and their agents, during the COVID-19 pandemic:
