Proof of ownership

The owner of the vessel must provide evidence of proof of ownership. This should be a Certificate of Registration under the Mercantile Marine Acts 1955.

You will need to submit a signed decleration of ownership in cases where:

  • your vessel is under 15 tonnes
  • and
  • you do not hold a Certificate of Registration under the Mercantile Marine Act 1995.
