Revenue publishes list of employers who received payments under the Employment Wage Subsidy Scheme in 2020

The Employment Wage Subsidy Scheme (EWSS) replaced the Temporary Wage Subsidy Scheme (TWSS) from 1 September 2020 and is administered by Revenue on behalf of the Government. In 2020, over €1.4 billion was paid under the scheme to more than 39,800 eligible employers in respect of 443,100 employees.

In accordance with legislative requirements set out in section 28B (10) of the Emergency Measures in the Public Interest (Covid-19) Act 2020, Revenue has published the names and addresses of employers who received EWSS payments in 2020.

The legislation does not make provision for the subsidy amounts paid to each employer to be published. As such, and in keeping with Revenue's confidentiality obligations under Section 851A of the Taxes Consolidation Act, subsidy amounts are not stated. Explanatory information along with the list can be found at List of Employers who received payments in 2020 under the EWSS. List of Employers who received payments in 2020 under the EWSS.

Today (28/01/2021) Revenue has also published updated statistics in relation to EWSS and the Covid Restrictions Support Scheme (CRSS) which can be found at COVID-19 Support Schemes statistics.
