Revenue seize herbal cannabis worth €540,000 in County Wexford
On Wednesday (23/08/2023), as part of an intelligence-led operation, Revenue officers seized approximately 27kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of over €540,000 in County Wexford.
The seizure was made as a result of a joint operation conducted by Revenue’s Customs Service and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB). Investigations are ongoing.
This seizure is part of Revenue’s ongoing joint investigations targeting organised crime groups and the importation, sale and supply of illegal drugs.
