Revenue seize cocaine worth €210,000 at Dublin Airport
On 01/11/2024, as a result of risk profiling, Revenue officers seized approximately 2.8 kgs of cocaine with an estimated value of €210,000 at Dublin Airport.
The illicit drugs were discovered concealed within luggage when Revenue officers stopped and searched a passenger who had disembarked a flight from Lisbon, Portugal. A man in his 20s was arrested by An Garda Síochána and is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Dublin Garda Station. Investigations are ongoing.
