Revenue seize cocaine worth over €3 million at Port of Cork

Today, 11/12/2024, Revenue officers seized approximately 43kgs of cocaine with an estimated value of €3 million at Port of Cork. The illicit drugs were discovered, as a result of risk profiling, in a container of bananas which originated in South America. Investigations are ongoing.
