Direct reporting using payroll software
This option applies to you if your payroll package talks to Revenue Online Service (ROS) directly.
You request Revenue Payroll Notifications (RPNs) and submit the payroll details using functions in your payroll package.
Digital certificate
To use this option, you must have a ROS digital certificate for your payroll package. You must keep this certificate up to date by renewing it when prompted.
You should have instructions from your payroll provider on how to use the sub-user certificate in your payroll package.

RPNs
You should have instructions from your payroll provider on how to request RPNs and update them in your payroll package.
Payroll submission
You should have instructions from your payroll provider on how to submit payroll details using your payroll package.
