Access to stamp certificates

The stamp certificate access service allows you to access, view and print your stamp certificate online using the Revenue Online Service (ROS). ROS has two facilities for you to access a stamp certificate:

• third-party search facility
• search and retrieve facility.

Who is the service for?

This service is for customers, registered for ROS, who require an electronic copy of a stamp certificate. The stamp certificate is issued to filers at the end of the e-stamping process.

What you need to use the service

To use the third-party search facility, you will need the:

• stamp certificate number
• document ID number
• date of execution of the instrument
• date of the stamp certificate.

With the search and retrieve facility, you can search for a stamp certificate using any of the following:

• purchaser name
• vendor name
• document ID number
• within a specific date range.  

How to access the service

This service is available through ROS.

If you filed the original Stamp Duty return, you can access, view and print your stamp certificate through the ROS search and retrieve facility.

If you did not file the original Stamp Duty return, you can access and view the stamp certificate through the ROS third party search facility.
