However, certain types of bandages qualify as orthopaedic appliances, such as the Lohmann orthopaedic plaster, immobilisation bandages, Orthopaedic plaster of paris sheeting, rolling and plaster of paris bandages, , accordingly they are zero rated. Paragraph 11(3)(b) of Schedule 2 refers.
