Summary
On 12 November 2024 Judge Hayes ordered the forfeiture to the Exchequer, pursuant to Section 39 of the Criminal Justice Act 1994, of cash amounting to €13,115 which had been seized and detained on the at 30 Maple Close, Dundalk, County Louth on the 12 of October 2022. The cash was ordered to be forfeited as the Court was satisfied that it was proven on the balance of probabilities to represent the proceeds of crime or was intended for use in criminal conduct.
