Data access requests
How to make a data access request
You can make a data access request to obtain a copy of the personal data that Revenue holds about you either:
To assist you in making a request, please complete the Data access request form and return it to Data Protection postal address or firstname.lastname@example.org.
To enable us to process your request as quickly as possible, it would be helpful if you could:
- Provide as much information as possible to allow us to identify your data
- Include a daytime telephone number so that we can contact you if we have any queries in relation to your request
- Provide your permission if someone else is making a request on your behalf. For example, a friend, relative or solicitor. Permission is usually in the form of a letter signed by you. This authorises the person to write to us for your data and to receive our reply.
We may require proof of identity and address when making a request. For example, a copy of your passport or utility bill.
