How to submit a PAYE Income Tax Return
Overview

This section covers how Pay As You Earn (PAYE) customers can:
- view an employment detail summary
- view a preliminary End of Year Statement
- complete a PAYE Income Tax Return
- and
- request a Statement of Liability.
If you are a PAYE taxpayer, you should complete and submit a PAYE Income Tax Return each year. The quickest way to submit your PAYE Income Tax Return is online through myAccount.
You need to complete a PAYE Income Tax Return to:
- claim tax credits or reliefs such as Health Expenses, Rent Tax Credit and Remote Working Relief
- declare additional income
- and
- obtain a Statement of Liability.
