How to register for the DCPL

Depending on your circumstances, you may need to register for the Defective Concrete Products Levy (DCPL) through Revenue Online Service (ROS) or myAccount.

Registration for ROS users

If you are a ROS user, you can register for the DCPL by following these steps:

  1. Sign in to ROS.
  2. In the 'Other Services' section of the 'My Services' screen, click the 'Manage Tax Registrations' link.
  3. Select the 'Defective Concrete Products Levy' category.

Registration for myAccount users

If you are a myAccount user, you can register for the DCPL by following these steps:

  1. Sign in to myAccount.
  2. Click on 'Tax Registrations’ in the 'Manage My Record’ tile.
  3. Select “Register” on the 'Defective Concrete Products Levy' tax type line.

Note

You must register for the DCPL before making the first supply of liable concrete products on, or after, 1 September 2023. Tax Agents can register on their client's behalf through ROS.
