How to de-register for the DCPL

If you cease making first supplies of concrete products within the scope of the levy, you should notify Revenue that you are no longer the chargeable person. To do this, you need to de-register for the Defective Concrete Products Levy (DCPL).

If you are a ROS user

If you are a Revenue Online Service (ROS) user, you can de-register for the DCPL by following these steps:

  1. Sign in to ROS.
  2. In the 'Other Services' section of the 'My Services' screen, click the 'Manage Tax Registrations' link.
  3. Click ‘Cease Registration’ in the Defective Concrete Products Levy category.

The cessation date will default to the current date and a cessation reason is required.

If you are a myAccount user

If you are a myAccount user, you can de-register for the DCPL by following these steps:

  1. Sign in to myAccount.
  2. click on 'Tax Registrations’ in the 'Manage My Record’ tile.
  3. Select “Cease” on the 'Defective Concrete Products Levy' tax type line.

The cessation date will default to the current date.
