Updating your civil status

You can update your civil status on myAccount by following the instructions below: 

  1. Sign into myAccount.
  2. Select 'My Profile' and then 'My Details' on the dropdown options. Then select 'Edit' in the 'Personal Details' section.
  3. Alternatively, you can click 'Update Civil Status' in the 'Manage My Record' section.
  4. Select your new civil status from the dropdown menu, provide all relevant information as requested and confirm your preferred basis of assessment. 
  5. Click 'Next'.
  6. Enter your password and click 'Submit' to complete the process. 

Your spouse or civil partner must also be registered for myAccount to confirm the civil status update request.  

You may be asked to upload supporting documentation when requesting your status to be updated.
