Updating your personal details

Overview

You can update your personal information on Revenue's records.

You can update your personal details using myAccount by clicking ‘My Profile’ or ‘Manage My Record’. The details you can update on myAccount include your:

  • address
  • bank details
  • email address
  • and
  • civil status

If you are registered for the Revenue Online Service (ROS), you can use this platform to update your:

  • address
  • bank details
  • and
  • email address.

The Department of Social Protection (DSP) is responsible for managing the Personal Public Service Number (PPSN) for every individual. This includes name changes and gender recognition.  For further information on this, please see the DSP’s website regarding:

Revenue will only update your tax record with regard to your name or gender when the DSP have updated their PPSN records.

Stay safe and secure online

Revenue will never send emails or text messages which require customers to send personal information via email or pop-up windows. 

Your ROS and myAccount password allow access to your records. Please keep your sign-in details and password secure and do not disclose them to anyone.
