Update civil status
You can request your civil status to be updated through ‘My Profile’ or ‘Manage My Record’ on myAccount.
You may be asked to upload supporting documentation when requesting your status to be updated.
Both spouses or civil partners must be registered for myAccount in order to verify the request. Your spouse or civil partner needs to log onto their own myAccount profile to confirm the request.
How to access the service
There are two options to access this service through myAccount.
Option one:
- click on ‘My Profile’
- select ‘My Details’
- click on ‘Edit’ in the Personal Details tab
- select your new civil status from the dropdown menu
- and
- provide all relevant information as requested.
Option two:
- click on the ‘Manage My Record’ tab
- select ‘Update Civil Status’
- select your new civil status from the dropdown menu
- and
- provide all relevant information as requested.
