Real Time Credits

Overview

A Real Time Credit facility is available on myAccount. By using this facility, you can claim tax credits and reliefs for certain qualifying expenditure in real time.

You can claim for expenditure incurred in respect of:

When your claim has been processed, an amended Revenue Payroll Notification (RPN) will be made available to your employer. This will allow for the relevant adjustment to be made through payroll and to receive a refund, if due.

An amended Tax Credit Certificate (TCC) will be made available to you. You can view this TCC in the 'My Documents' section on myAccount. This TCC will show details of all tax credits you are entitled to. The TCC will also reflect any additional relief due as a result of your claim.
