Right to erasure (right to be forgotten)
You have the right, in certain circumstances, to have your personal data erased or no longer processed. This is under Article 17 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This is where the personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or processed.
If you wish to avail of this right, you can Contact us. You should set out clearly the:
- personal data involved
- reasons why you consider it should be erased or no longer processed.
We will either grant your request without undue delay or explain to you why we will not do so.
The right to erasure cannot interfere with Revenue’s Core business.
