Right to restriction of processing
In certain circumstances you have the right to request that we restrict processing of your personal data. This is under Article 18 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
If you wish to avail of this right, you can Contact us either by letter or by email. You should indicate clearly the data involved and the reasons why you consider processing should be restricted. We will either grant your request without undue delay or explain to you why we will not do so.
This right cannot be used to interfere with Revenue's Core business.
Notification obligation
We will inform anyone to whom we have disclosed your data of any changes made if we:
- rectify or erase your personal data
- restrict the processing of that data.
We will not carry out this exercise if it:
- is impossible to do so
- involves a disproportionate effort.
You can also request that we provide you with details of anyone to whom we have disclosed your data.
